Instead, it relies solely on the pressure and velocity of the vented gases for mixing with atmospheric oxygen to sustain combustion. These are widely used in oil refineries, petrochemical plants, and natural gas facilities where gas flow rates and composition allow stable burning without smoke suppression assistance
